Waste treatment

More information

Waste treatment companies process enormous amounts of residual flows, from household waste to industrial waste. These are often separated, incinerated or thermally treated. This requires conveyor belts that are strong, durable and resistant to extreme conditions.

In the waste treatment industry, conveyor belts are a crucial link in processing residual flows. They ensure that both household waste and industrial waste are moved, sorted and treated safely and efficiently. The belts must be resistant to sharp materials, heavy loads and varying weather conditions, so that the entire processing process can continue reliably and continuously.

Our conveyor belts support the most important processes in waste treatment:

  • Waste collection and supply: It all starts with efficiently supplying waste streams to the treatment site. Our metal conveyor belts are designed to reliably transport a variety of materials such as residual waste, construction and demolition waste, or recyclable flows. Thanks to sturdy structures, wear-resistant material and possibly adapted bandwidths, we can tailor the systems to the specific dimensions, weights and properties of the waste. Together with the customer, we determine the optimal length, inclination and speed of the conveyor belt, so that the collection process runs smoothly and continuously.
  • Sorting and separating: A crucial step in waste treatment is separating materials. Our conveyor belts can be equipped with carriers, side plates and customer-specific options to pre-separate material flows, or in combination with automated sorting machines such as magnets, air cannons and optical sorters. Customization plays a major role here: we adjust belt heights, modulations and support so that the sorting installation is used optimally and the risk of blockages or wear is minimal.
  • Processing and transport to processing units: After sorting, materials often have to be transported to shredders, packaging machines or incinerators. Our metal conveyor belts are indispensable here: with high load capacity, temperature-resistant versions or special coatings, we ensure continuous transport, even with sharp, hot or corrosive materials. By looking at modular design and easy maintenance together with the customer, we increase the uptime of the installation and significantly improve operational efficiency.
  • Disposal and storage: The final process is the removal of processed materials to storage or logistical transport. Conveyor belts can be equipped to deliver the material exactly to the right place. Optionally, we can provide systems with sensors and controls for intelligent control. Here, too, customization is key: we fully adjust the belt height, speed and construction to the customer's logistical needs and safety standards.
  • Customization and cooperation: Every waste treatment plant is unique, that's why we believe in close cooperation with our customers. From the first sketch to the final installation, we coordinate bandwidths, materials, versions and additional options. This creates a solution that reliable, durable and fully customized is tailored to the specific requirements of waste treatment.
