Last Tuesday, we were able to make an inspiring contribution to the project “You have to do technology” at Los Hoes primary school in Haaksbergen. During this theme day, technology was central and the students got insight into the world behind everyday products in a fun and accessible way.
Our colleague Munah took the children into the story of DeSpiral and Tribelt. What exactly do we do? Why do we do that? And how do our products, such as springs and metal conveyor belts, contribute to society on a daily basis? From the tension spring in a trampoline to the conveyor belt that moves bread or vegetables, our products are everywhere!
It was fantastic to see how curious, involved and enthusiastic the students were. They asked smart questions, actively participated and proudly shared their own ideas about technology and their future.
Finally, the students received a small gift: a homemade elephant phone holder, a coloring page and colored pencils, a lasting reminder of an educational morning.
We thank Los Hoes primary school for the invitation and wish all students the best of luck with the continuation of their project. Who knows, we might meet some of them again in the future as technical colleagues!
